Motorists are advised to be cautious as rain continues in several parts of Gauteng and Mpumalanga.
Remember to keep headlights on, keep a safe following distance from other vehicles while travelling and refrain from speeding.
“While it is understandable that people want to get to work on time and later back home, they are urged to be patient on the roads,” said Chitra Bodasing, ER24 spokesman.
“People are also urged to be cautious when crossing low-water bridges.
“Rather seek an alternate route.”
Refrain from walking or driving in flooded areas.
