Man sustains moderate injuries in accident
A pedestrian sustained moderate injuries after being knocked down by a car.
A 34-year-old man sustained moderate injuries after a light motor vehicle knocked him down on Main Reef Road, in Knights, on Thursday, at about 12.30pm.
“The exact cause of the accident will remain a subject for police investigation and comment,” said Athlenda Mathe, media liaison officer for Netcare 911.
“Netcare911 paramedics managed to stabilise the injured man on scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further medical care.”
