Men found with dagga during police patrol

Primrose police arrest five men for possession of dagga.

During a recent foot patrol of the Marathon and Delport informal settlements in Primrose, five men were arrested for dagga possession.

The men, aged between 25 and 43 years old, were arrested by officers from the Primrose Police Station.

“Police stopped each man and asked to search them, finding dagga on each of them,” said the communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.

The men were held at the Primrose Police Station, pending their appearance in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court.
