Local business helps the children of Epworth

There was much delight when Epworth Children’s Village received a much-needed donation.

Staff from Epworth Children’s Village were thrilled with a sizeable donation from the Fontana SuperSpar Group, specifically Fontana Lambton SuperSpar, last Tuesday.

The donation included food, toiletries and toys.

Managers of Fontana Lambton SuperSpar Michael van Wyk and Nick Madileng with some of the donations for Epworth Children’s Village.

Marlene Gunter, the sponsorship controller for Spar South Rand, said the group wants to make a difference in the community.

Epworth Children’s Village, situated in Lambton, currently has 71 children in its care and Robyn Hill, the practice manager, said the donation was gratefully accepted and will go a long way in helping the home.

Fontana Lambton SuperSpar managers Michael van Wyk and Nick Madileng were extremely pleased to be able to help the youngsters at Epworth.
