Don’t miss the Din-Al-View CPF meeting

The law and operating within it will be discussed at the Din-Al-View CPF’s monthly meeting.

The Din-Al-View CPF will be holding its public monthly meeting this Thursday (July 26).

Although dealing mainly with matters of crime, the CPF is also concerned about other community issues, one of which is to operate within the law and to convey an understanding of the law to its members.

Danie Schoeman, from SWS Security, will be the guest speaker.

He will discuss what CPF members and general citizens are allowed to do and what they are not allowed to do.

The talk will focus on security and the need for all to operate within the law.

During the course of the meeting, there will be a lucky draw (not a raffle – no money to be paid).

All attendees are automatically eligible to take part in the draw.

If your number is drawn, the prize is yours.

The monthly meeting will take place in the Dinwiddie High School hall at 6.30pm.

Congratulations to the winner, Maghret Strachan. She won the prize (a first aid kit) at last month’s public monthly meeting.

The CPF is grateful to Charles Prinsloo from The Local Choice Pharmacy who generously donated the prize.

Din-Al-View Sector Five CPF includes the suburbs of Dinwiddie, Albemarle, Castleview, Union and Norton Small Farms.

Community members are urged to get involved and to become members of the CPF.

Members have access to informative WhatsApp groups and a radio network within the sector.

Members who wish to do so may also participate in the patrols of the sector to learn the ropes or simply to see what the patrollers do.
