A 27-year-old man was recently arrested by the Primrose police on a charge of domestic violence.
The arrest was made after police were called to Rietfontein Road, where the attack was allegedly taking place.

“When officers arrived at the scene they found a couple.
“The woman had a stab wound in her left arm, which was bleeding,” said communications officer for the Primrose police, Sgt Styles Maome.

She told police her boyfriend had stabbed her with a sharp object.
He was arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station.
He has since appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court, where his case was postponed for plea and trial.
