Man arrested for alleged house break-in and theft

Primrose police apprehended a man on a charge of house break-in and theft.

Primrose police recently arrested a 42-year-old man on a charge of house break-in and theft.

The crime was reported to the Primrose police by the alleged victim.

“The complainant alleged that she was at her Makause informal settlement home, which she rented, when the accused, who is a brother of her landlord, came and kicked the door open and told her to leave the property,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

“She ran to the Primrose Police Station to report the incident.

“When she returned she found several items had been taken.”

Police traced the accused and he was arrested.

He will appear in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court soon.
