ANCWL joins protest march
Her family is demanding justice for her death.
Members of the local ANC Women’s League (ANCWL) joined the family of slain 31-year-old Thamsanqa Khoboi on their way to present a memorandum to the station commander of the Vosloorus Police Station, Brig Themba Denge, demanding prompt police action against gender-based violence.
Khoboi, a mother of two young children, was gunned down under mysterious circumstances inside a tavern in Vosloorus.
Her family is demanding justice for her death.
A man linked to her death was arrested and charged with murder; he is reportedly on bail, awaiting trial.
Khoboi’s family accused the police of prolonging their healing process by dragging their feet in their investigations
