Elsburg SAPS had an imbizo in Buhle Park on December 8.
The purpose of the imbizo was to address issues related to crime and GBV.
The police had different departments from the SAPS in attendance, including social crime-prevention coordinators, communications officers and Sector 3 CPF representatives.

“We addressed the community about hijackings, house robberies, business robberies, house break-ins and robberies,” said Elsburg SAPS spokesperson Sgt Daphey Phooko.
“Pamphlets were distributed to the community members to create awareness about the16 Days of Activism campaign.
It included information about sexual abuse, child abuse, domestic violence and human trafficking,” said Phooko.
