Illegal ads and unroadworthy cars lead to seven vehicle impoundments in Ekurhuleni
Authorities warn that more inspections are planned to keep public spaces safe and ensure full compliance with municipal by-laws.
Seven vehicles were impounded during recent by-law enforcement operations carried out across the City of Ekurhuleni, the EMPD has confirmed.
According to a statement by the EMPD, the towing unit focused on a range of contraventions, including illegal advertising, unroadworthy vehicles, parking violations, and unlawful mechanical work taking place on the roadside.
Officers conducted targeted inspections in several hotspot areas to ensure that motorists and businesses comply with municipal by-laws.
