Parents and learners shared excitement for the first day of school on January 17.

Ida and Tambo accompanied their child Tagang Tambo Nathan on his first day at school.

The deputy principal at Laerskool Die President, Maria Gildenhuys said they received 130 Grade One learners for 2024 and they also welcomed the enrolment of twin sisters to the school.

Prayer Khosa accompanied her child Ntotiwe Khosa to school.
