Police take crime awareness campaign to Germiston High
Germiston Saps host drug awareness campaign at local school.
To raise awareness about crime, the Germiston SAPS social crime prevention team recently paid a visit to Germiston High School.
Along with other stakeholders, like Silky Worth, Hope for Africa and Gauteng Department of Education, they spoke to the learners and gave safety tips, covering issues such as drugs, bullying, sexual offences and the importance of education.

Learners were afforded the opportunity to ask questions.
About 1400 learners were addressed and illegal items were removed from the school grounds.
The Germiston SAPS communications officer said the event aimed to warn learners about the dangers of drug abuse and bullying among other issues.
