Planned power outage to affect large parts of Germiston

The City of Ekurhuleni has confirmed that a power outage will affect areas of Germiston on 10 April between 08:00 and 20:00.

This is due to follow-up maintenance on the high voltage components at Substation 2nd Input.

According City of Ekurhuleni, the following areas will be affected:

Wadeville
Albermarle
Castleview
Dinwiddie
Union
Phumula
Mapleton Ext 10
Buhle Park
Rondebult (including extensions)
Roodekop (including extensions)
Roodekop Industries
Leondale and surrounding areas

Residents and businesses within the affected areas may experience power interruptions during the maintenance period.
