EMPD arrests 22 undocumented foreign nationals across Ekurhuleni
The EMPD has confirmed the arrest of 22 undocumented foreign nationals during crime prevention operations conducted across Brakpan, Springs, Benoni, Primrose, and Germiston last week.
The EMPD arrested twenty-two undocumented foreign nationals during operations carried out between June 9 and June 15.
The arrests took place in various areas across the City of Ekurhuleni, including Brakpan, Springs, Benoni, Primrose and Germiston.

Officers intercepted the individuals during routine crime prevention duties and operations.
All those apprehended, aged between 20 and 50, were unable to provide valid passports or documentation, failing to comply with the Immigration Act.
The suspects are expected to appear in the magistrate’s court soon to face charges related to their undocumented status.
