The School of Affirmation hosted a lively spring pageant on September 5, giving learners a chance to showcase their talents, creativity, and confidence while marking the new season.

The event, filled with music, dance, and vibrant outfits, gave children a platform to showcase their talents and creativity while celebrating the beauty of spring.

Principal Juanita Horn said the pageant was about more than just fun.

Intermediate phase. First prince and princess: Michael Basterfield and Zanothando Ngema. Mr and Ms SOA: Mosa Masilo and Owethu Magagula. Mr and Ms Personality: Khulasande Dube and Naledi Sebetwa.

“Spring is a season of new beginnings, and we wanted to remind our learners that growth and change are always possible. The pageant encourages self-expression, builds confidence, and strengthens our school community,” explain Horn.

She said it was wonderful to see the learners shine outside the classroom and emphasised the importance of schools creating platforms for learners beyond the classroom.
