EMPD conducts by-law compliance operation in Germiston CBD

The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department inspected businesses and street traders in the Germiston CBD to ensure compliance with municipal by-laws and valid trading permit requirements.

The EMPD conducted a municipal by-law compliance operation in the Germiston Central Business District (CBD) as part of ongoing efforts to ensure businesses and street traders comply with City regulations.

According to the EMPD, officers from the Southern Region Social Crime Prevention Unit carried out inspections throughout the CBD, including Meyer, President and Victoria streets.

The operation focused on verifying that traders and businesses had valid trading permits and were operating in accordance with municipal by-laws.
