Diana Kent, Wychwood writes:
I was shocked to hear that there was a very thin, badly wounded dog living in my old neighbourhood, Wychwood.
This dog was petrified of people, because she had been badly treated; she lived on the corner of Graham and Price roads.
And I presume people around that area fed her bits of food and gave her water, but why did none of them phone the SPCA and report this poor dog?
Those people who poured boiling water on the dog and threw rocks at her, your time will come when you stand at the pearly gates and find that the Lord does not want you.
My son and his two children went for a ride on their bicycles in that area and discovered this dog.
It was a Sunday but they still made enquiries to find out who could help him.
They only had cat food which they took up to her with water, she was too afraid to come out so they left the food and walked away and when she thought they were gone she ate everything.
On Monday morning the SPCA was shocked at the state of this dog when they came to collect her.
The vet checked her and said she would never be able to go into a home, because she might never be able to trust us humans because of her bad state of abuse.
I am ashamed of the Wychwood residents in that area, why did you not phone the SPCA and save that poor dog?
