Soccer players are encouraged to dust their soccer boots and shake off the winter cold with some last-minute training, as the Diphiri Football Club will be hosting trials on July 5, at the Elspark Sports Grounds, corner Heidelberg and Egret roads, Elspark.
Diphiri FC was formulated in 2013, with the vision of affording talented players within Ekurhuleni an opportunity to follow their dreams of becoming professional football players.
The club is currently playing in the ABC Motsepe League and has achieved extremely favourable results in its short term in this league.
The trials will commence at 8am.
Players born between 1993 and 1996 will be allowed to try out.
All participants are required to produce original green identity documents (ID); under no circumstances will players be allowed into trial sessions without the correct documentation.
Trial sessions are free of charge and registration will take place from 7am-8am.
All players must have their own soccer boots, shin guards, playing kits and refreshments, and must provide their own transport.
