Local MMA club shines at championships
Thunder MMA recently competed in the Gauteng Fighting Championships, held in Alberton.
The Gauteng Fighting Championships was held at the Alberton Wrestling Club on Saturday, and Elsburg-based Thunder MMA was represented by several young members.
Chris le Roux, Tylor Louw, Clint Louw, Aby Brooks and Dominic van der Kloff, William Brooks, Kiara Willemse, Miane van Wyk and Jordin Coxen all trained hard for the event and were ready to make their mark.

William, Tylor, Clint and Chris all won their matches, to the delight of head coach Pietie Coxen and assistant coach Erick van Rooien.
“Well done to all our fighters,” said Coxen.
“We are blessed to be able to call you members of Thunder MMA.”

The members will now get straight back into training for their next event.
