Van Zyl heads back to the ring
Thunder MMA’s Gerhard van Zyl will compete in Box Berg 2 on February 8.
The new year will kick-off with a bang for the Thunder MMA.
Gerhard van Zyl will make a comeback to the boxing ring in Junkyard Promotions’ white-collar boxing event, Box Berg 2, on February 8.
The event will take place at La Boom, located on Margaret Avenue, Boksburg.

“Van Zyl has been training hard, putting in the extra hours, and has shown commitment and heart.
“Which is what it takes to make it in combat sports,” said coach Pietie Coxen.
