In the first teams’ match-up, some good combination play and quick defence saw Luso take control from the get-go.
An early goal from Roberto Da Silva pushed the team forward.
Luso kept the pressure on until the final whistle and were rewarded with a goal from Dumisane Dunga to secure a 2-0 victory, claiming another three league points.
In the second teams’ match, Luso had a major setback when Leandro De Abreu was sent off in the first 10 minutes.
The club, however, worked hard to cancel out Randburg’s player advantage and managed to get the opening goal from Tefo Tladi.
The score remained 1-0 heading into half-time.
The second half saw Luso defending bravely and maintaining their lead.
“The team did well and hardly looked to be a man down, winning the match 1-0,” said Dylan Wilson on behalf of the club.

On May 5 the club travelled to Bedfordview to face Olympia Football Club.
The first team were determined to win the match and were pleased to reach this goal with a 4-1 win.
The team’s goals were scored by Albert Mothapo and Cebo Bidi.
Luso’s second team seemed to be in cruise control from the start to finish of their match, and although they missed many chances they still managed to go into the break 2-0 up thanks to goals by Balin Benissan and Lebohang Mashego.
The second half was much of the same with two more goals from Sibusiso Mahlaba.
These wins secured Luso’s first team the top position on the Super League log.
