“Last year, the tournament produced eight Proteas, six men and two women, who went on to represent South Africa in England.
“This year, Gauteng hosted the event, after KwaZulu-Natal last year, with Flames Pub and Grill providing sponsorship support and tables for the tournament,” said Tsoaela.
The competition, held under the South African Blackball Federation (SABF), was marked by professionalism, discipline, and unity among participants.
Teams were ranked on performance, with singles competitions also held.

“In the men’s category, Western Cape claimed first place, followed by KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape. In the women’s category, Gauteng secured first place, with Western Cape second,” said Tsoaela.
