Young poet releases poetry

Tsholofelo Ngubeni (21) from Vosloorus, who is a student at Damelin, has made her name felt in the book publishing industry.

She said she has just published her first poetry novel – a booked called The Plethora of Love Paradigms.

“I am doing my third year at Damelin in Boksburg where I’m doing a bachelor’s of commerce in marketing and business management. I’m currently working on a dissertation (research project) on the factors contributing to alcohol consumption in South Africa,” said Ngubeni.

She added that: “It saddens me to see what is happening to the youth. Young people have lost hope. They have turned to alcohol, substance abuse and they fall in love with people old enough to be their fathers – blessers. There are no more role models who young people can relate their lifestyle to.”

She said she would like to be featured in Kathorus MAIL (the people’s favourite paper) where she would get a platform to inspire youth into believing that their dreams can come true and that anything and everything is possible as long as they put in the hard work and then believe in their work ethic.

She said her book is published under The Global Destiny Publishing House and was released on June 15 this year.

The book touches on love experiences, bringing a provocative insight meant to bring about healing to deep-seated emotional wounds bruised by broken hearts.

“People who got wounded by love will love this book as it carries lots healing tips,” added a young enthusiastic student.
