Warrant Officer Wollie Wolmarans warns residents not to fall for two beggars on the streets of Heidelberg who pretend to have families whom they have to support. These two are better known as Andries and Pieter and are drug addicts who are allegedly also linked with small crime in and around town.
W/O Wolmarans says people are keeping these addicts on the street with their ‘generosity’ and are pleading with the public not to give money to any beggars. “Even donations of clothes and food are being sold and used to support their drug habits.”
