Bring a blanket, change a life this winter
The Lesedi Care Centre (LCC) has launched a Blanket Drive to help keep those less fortunate warm this winter.
“With winter on our doorstep we know that many less fortunate people will be in desperate need of warmth and we would therefore like to encourage the community to start donating old (or new) blankets today,” said LCC manager Jaco Kritzinger.
While providing blankets is at the core of this initiative, Kritzinger said that they would also provide a blanket washing service to those in need.
Persons who would like to contribute to the LCC Blanket Drive can drop off their blankets at the LCC in Rensburg or at HERAUT’s office in Ueckermann Street.
