Students gain valuable practical experience at local police station

Dewzel Mandla Maseko (26), Col Amanda Viljoen (Heidelberg Station Commander), Simphiwe Ashton Maseko (29) and Scharell le Grange (22) at the SAPS Heidelberg on their first day at the station, eager to learn.

The students are still receiving training and returned to the college on May 10. This was a critical part of their training to experience field work within the SAPS. The students learned the basics of police work within the office such as opening dockets and taking statements.
