Eskort remains operational during lockdown
Eskort Heidelberg now offers an order and collect service at the Heidelberg Butchery.

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced a national lockdown which commenced on March 26.
Eskort is an essential food source and authorised food manufacturer and distributor. As such, they will be fully operational during this period. Eskort products will be available at retailers nationwide and all Eskort butcheries will remain open. Deliveries to retail clients will continue and selected butcheries will deliver directly to customers’ homes.
Eskort is known for quality control and food safety standards and operations during this time will be no different. Every precaution has been taken and staff is equipped and prepared to manage the highest food safety and standards.
In specific response to the Covid-19 outbreak, Eskort have taken the following additional steps to ensure safety of products and the wellbeing of customers.

* Every shopper needs to sanitise their hands before entering the store.
* Equipment in the butchery is sanitised throughout the day.
* All baskets and trollies are sanitised after each use.
* All staff will be wearing protective gloves and masks.
* Staff members complete a daily health check and each employee’s temperature will be monitored before entering the butchery.
Adhering to food safety regulations and continuing stringent food safety and hygiene processes is the key priority at Eskort.
