Patients will be screened on arrival and tested only if they meet the test criteria. The testing sites in Nigel are open between 08h00 and 16h00.

Dis-Chem has also introduced drive-through testing services for Covid-19 at nine of its pharmacies across the country. Nursing practitioners do a swab that will be submitted to labs for analysis.

The process is simple: customers drive in, register and drive through to a pay point where the customer pays R850 before the test is performed.
