SAPS arrest 2 in Vaal Marina for dagga and illegal goods
Dagga is destroying SA’s youth, said station commander.
Vaal Marina SAPS members were on patrol in the Mamello informal settlement when they received a tip-off about illegal activities, including the sale of dagga and the operation of an unlicensed second-hand goods business, on April 3.
While searching the premises, they found a plastic bag with dagga, copper tubes, saws, and scales.

The officers arrested two people for dealing in dagga and running a business unregistered to trade in second-hand goods.
“Dealing in dagga and other illegal substances is prevalent in the area and a great concern to us. It is destroying the youth and helping criminals commit crimes in the area,” said Vaal Marina SAPS station commander Captain Johan Greyling, who applauded the members for the success.
