Police are looking for several suspects in an armed hijacking

KRIEL – The police are looking for a group of men who hijacked a 44-year-old man’s car between Kriel and Matla Power Station.

The man was travelling from Witbank when he was pulled over by the driver of an unknown bakkie.

A man approached and threatened him with a firearm and told him to get out of his vehicle.

When he got out, one of the men got in and drove off.

The men had two vehicles and the victim was forced into one of them and was later dropped off near a farm.

He seeked help from the farm owner and was driven to the Kriel Police Station.

The police are investigating a case of hijacking.
