Robber assaults domestic worker
Intruder makes his escape when domestic worker screams for help.

SECUNDA – A domestic worker was recently robbed of her bag and cell phone when an intruder made his way into her employer‘s home.
“It is believed that the domestic worker heard dogs barking.
“She was on her way downstairs when she was approached by the intruder who was climbing the stairs,” said Lt Bettina Zondo, spokesman for the local police.
“The man grabbed the domestic worker by the throat and told her to show him where her employer keeps money.”
She said the man put a knife to the domestic worker’s throat and told her that he was going to kill her if she refused to show him, but she told him that she did not know.
The intruder then took her hand bag and cell phone.
Lt Zondo said: “The intruder also tried to take a television, but let go of it when the domestic worker began to scream for help.”
