Local dancers showcase talents

Two local Middle Eastern dancers have been selected for the Mpumalanga squad that will participate in the upcoming Beyond 2000 SA Championships. The “Rhythm Divas”, Susi Lisa Fernandes (owner and principal) and student Robyn Samuels from Rhythm Nirvana Dance Studio competed in the provincial round which took place at HTS Middelburg recently. Their ethnic/folkloric dance number was called “Belly Double Oh Seven” and featured modern dance-infused Middle Eastern dancing.
