Video – Pile-up causes carnage on N12
Altogether nine motorists are in a critical condition and a further 47 sustained injuries.

A pile-up on the N12 in Alberton claimed the lives of three motorists this morning.
According to Mr Russel Meiring of ER the driver of a petrol tanker lost control heading down the N12 near Voortrekker Road.
Altogether nine motorists are in a critical condition and a further 47 sustained injuries.
Emergency services have dispatched a helicopter to airlift the critically injured.
Standerton residents en route are urged to avoid the area by using the Camaro or Alberton off-ramps because traffic is expected to be congested.
