Ermelo: Mpumalanga MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liaison Vusi Shongwe has issued a strong warning to Mpumalanga motorists who will be found speeding on the roads.

Mr Shongwe said those caught speeding excessively should not be sparred any mercy and suggested that they don’t receive bail.

Mr Shongwe was reacting to three speedsters caught driving 200km/h and 205km/h on a 120km/h zone and 128km/h on an 80km/h zone. The trio were granted bail from free bail to R1500 and R2000 fine.

Shongwe also urged the community to report bad driving and those violating traffic rules so the authorities could deal with it accordingly.
