Highvelder journalists Erika Nel and Gerald Young scooped up arms-full of awards at the annual Oscar Frewin awards for outstanding journalism at a ceremony held in Emalahleni on Thursday.
Erika took top honours in the Upcoming Journalist of the Year and best Human Interest categories as well as a second place in the Best Portrait Photo section.
Gerald achieved top honours in Best Columns category and a third place in the Best Sport Writing section.
