Fire guts house in Ermelo
Extensive damage was caused to parts of the house.
Ermelo – A house in Adolf Schumann Street was gutted by a fire that broke out at about 13:00 today (Friday).
Firefighters form the Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue Services were on the scene within minutes and succeeded in extinguishing the blaze but extensive damage was caused.
No reports of injuries were received.
Chief Fire Officer of Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue Services, Mr Jaco Johnstone said the cause of the fire was being investigated but at this stage it appears that the fire was caused by an electrical fault.
