Camden Ave bend buckles another
Numerous accidents have occurred at this spot in the past
The infamous Camden Avenue bend near the Pick n Pay complex claimed yet another victim.
The driver of this bakkie was lucky to escape uninjured when he lost control of his vehicle while rounding the bend in Camden Avenue at about 21:15 on Friday night.
The vehicle hit two trees before coming to a halt on the opposite side of the road.
Numerous accidents have occurred at this spot in the past with vehicles landing up the front yards of residents.
Repeated requests for the municipality to make the bend safer by installing speed bumps and stop streets have so far been disregarded.
