Three boys between the ages of nine and 15 years were allegedly raped by a teenager, aged 17.
The boys were allegedly sexually assaulted on different occasions in Rooikoppen.
They were allegedly raped in the 17 year old’s house and were told not to tell anyone.
According to the Sakhile Police, the alleged rapist threatened the victims and told them that he will send people to stab and kill them if they tell anyone about the incidents.
All three victims and the alleged rapist live in the same neighbourhood in Rooikoppen.
The three young boys go to the same school.
According to the police, teachers noticed that one of the victims was acting out of character and decided to investigate.
He then told the teacher that he was raped by a person known to him.
The police said the teachers investigated further and discovered two other boys who were also allegedly sexually assaulted by the same person.
The school informed the victims’ guardians and requested them to come to the school.
They also informed the Community Policing Forum (CPF) who notified the police.
According to Sgt George Dhlamini, communications officer of the Sakhile Police, a case of indecent assault will be opened.
