WATCH: Police fire rubber bullets at protesters picketing outside Standerton Oil Mills

Police dispersed the LYEDF protesters with rubber bullets.

UPDATE: 12.35pm

The police arrested four protesters on the R23 towards Johannesburg.

Fidelity Security had to escort trucks to and from the premises.

The police earlier used rubber bullets to disperse the crowd at Standerton Oil Mills.

Police fired rubber bullets at members of the Lekwa Youth Economic Develoment Forum (LYEDF) protesters outside Standerton Oil Mills on 23 October.

The LYEDF burnt tyres outside Standerton Oil Mills and closed Taljaard Street.

The protesters proceeded to burn tyres in Marais and Lang Streets in Sharpville as well.
