On Sunday, 26 November, the Dutch Reformed congregation of Lake Chrissie hosted the local Bakgethua Bamorena Choir to participate in its service and lay bare its unquestionable talent.
Under choir master Jabulani Nklosi, the choir consisting of some 35 youngsters, sang hymns in English, Zulu and Sotho with a dedication and professionalism that moved the congregation.
Established in February 2016 and still self-funded, the choir has already made a name for itself through performances in Warburton, Carolina, Davel and Hendrina and hopes to release a CD shortly.
