The residents of Davel are up and arms over municipal offices that have been closed for the past few weeks.
According to the residents, the offices have been closed since Easter weekend.
This came after angry residents dumped refuse, that was not been collected since the beginning of the year, at the municipal offices and at a councillor’s house.
“We have to drive to Ermelo to pay our bills and report the issues we are experiencing,” the resident said.
He added that the people who are not fortunate enough to travel to Ermelo, are falling behind with their payments.
