Motivational speakers addressed learners of Netherland Park Secondary School (NPSS) on 3 and 10 February.
This was part of a youth upliftment programme.
Boys and girls were addressed on different dates.
Mr Ronny Nhlapho, a senior correctional officer from the Department of Correctional Services, introduced Mr Doctor Shabalala, an inmate serving a life sentence, to the boys of NPSS on 3 February.
Mr Shabalala warned them about committing crimes.
He emphasised, values such as respect and hard work is the fundamentals in building one’s future.
