Laerskool Breyten recently adopted several safety measures to ensure the safety of both learners as well as teachers returning back to school amid Covid-19.

Mr Louis Bates, Principal of Laerskool Breyten, welcomed back pupils and teachers, who are allowed under the Disaster Management Act regulations, to return to school, and ensured parent, teachers and pupils that Laerskool Breyten was adequately prepared for the new normal Covid-19 has given birth to.

“Discipline and safety are two key factors we are focused on during this time,” Mr Bates said in a video recording on the school’s Facebook page.

A walk through sanitation station has been installed at the entrance of the school, ensuring every person who enters the school ground is sanitised.
