African Eye Entertainment wants to offer helping hand to underprivileged families in Chrissiesmeer

CHRISSIESMEER – African Eye Entertainment, a non-profit organisation, will host a clothes fundraiser for underprivileged families in town on November 13.

The event is from 11:00 to 18:00.

According to Mr Lunga Mashego, the founder and director of African Eye Entertainment, the entry fee for the event is R5 or alternatively a plastic bag with old clothes.

He said, “To us old is new, if you have old clothes that you no longer need please donate it towards this cause.

“We have identified and traced families that are in need of clothing.”

He added old clothes are as good as new to poverty-stricken families.

Mr Mashego said clean out your cupboard and make a difference.
