Local NPO founder finds solance in inspiring men

Power Hour Motivation Movement begun 2016 with an aim to provide a safer space for men and give back to those in need.

WESSELTON – Ntokozo Sithole, the founder of a non-profit organisation known as Power Hour Motivation Movement (PHMM), believes in motivating men to fulfil their potential.

According to him, the organisation was begun in 2016 after he identified a need to provide motivational talks to men in the area and give back to those in need.

He said one of the highlights of his time running the organisation was when he began handing out food parcels to homeless children.

“I started by distributing food to homeless children, and since then, I have simply wanted to lend a helping hand wherever I am able to,” Mr Sithole said.

PHMM has also donated school shoes to a variety of local schools, including Phumula Primary, Reggie Masuku Secondary and Ithafa Secondary School, and sponsored the matric farewell for the Class of 2019 in these schools.

“There is no better feeling for me than giving back to the community and ensuring that people, especially children, are able to overcome obstacles they may have in their lives.”
