Construction workers foil attempted car theft outside local business

An attempted vehicle theft was interrupted after construction workers spotted a man tampering with a car.

Two construction workers busy working up the street near the crossing of Laffnie and Jacobs noticed a man allegedly trying to steal a vehicle outside a local business.

They went into the nearby office to ask whether the vehicle belonged to anyone and described what they had seen. One of the employees confirmed the description and she and the workers ran after the man.
