Gugulethu Hadebe wears her heart on her sleeve

Ms Hadebe established her own non-profit organisation, the Goodness Movement, which she hopes to register by June to help develop and empower children in all aspects, especially in educational, recreational and social welfare issues.

WESSELTON – Ms Gugulethu Goodness Hadebe (26) believes that by lending a helping hand, she can touch the hearts of children.

Ms Hadebe established her own non-profit organisation, the Goodness Movement, which she hopes to register by June to help develop and empower children in all aspects, especially in educational, recreational and social welfare issues.

“Having grown up with little, I want to share whatever I have with those in need. I believe that if you give to your community, you can go the extra mile.”

Ms Hadebe, who has an advanced diploma in library and information, recently celebrated her 26th birthday in style, taking 26 underprivileged children to McDonald’s for lunch and donating food parcels to families in Wesselton and Thusi Village.
