Two children in critical condition after accident in Ermelo
According to the paramedics, the other three children are estimated to be of similar ages, the oldest being about 13
A single-vehicle accident occurred on the gravel road out on the N2, just after turning left at the Acacia Supermarket, on Sunday, involving five children and one adult.
According to information received, the driver fled the scene.
Emergency services found the vehicle overturned on its left side.
No other vehicles were involved.

All five children were admitted to the Ermelo Provincial Hospital, two of them, estimated to be about six and nine, with critical injuries.
Both were intubated and placed on ventilators.
