Ermelo SAPS bust alleged drug dealers in two separate incidents

Ermelo SAPS managed to nab two suspects in two different instances for allegedly dealing in drugs.

Ermelo SAPS Crime Prevention members arrested two suspects yesterday, March 18 in separate incidents for dealing in drugs.

In the first arrest, a 31-year-old man was apprehended after he was found in possession of 51kg of dagga.

The suspect, travelling in a Nissan Almera, was intercepted by police following a tip-off that he was transporting drugs.

In the second incident, police received information from a neighbouring station to be on the lookout for a speeding vehicle.

A Renault Scenic was spotted on the Breyten Road, where it was intercepted by police.

A 42-year-old driver was found with 59.6kg of dagga and was arrested in connection with dealing in drugs.
