Police seek help locating a missing man from Hendrina

Police need help in finding a missing Hendrina man, last seen on May 25

HENDRINA – Police are urgently appealing to the public for assistance in locating Johannes Sibanyoni (45), who has been missing since Sunday, May 25.

According to a report filed by his wife, Sibanyoni left his home at Vaalbank Farm at around 11:05.

He was accompanied by his brother-in-law, Vusi Mthimunye, and the two were en route to a funeral in Matshotshombeni in Kwazamokuhle Location, Ext 6, where Mthimunye resides.

Sibanyoni is described as tall and light in complexion. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue shirt, brown trousers, a brown jacket, grey shoes, and a black hat.

Anyone with information that could assist in locating him is urged to contact Detective Sergeant Tsepiso Zwane on 073 746 8044. Alternatively, tips can be shared via the Crime Stop hotline on 08600 10111 or through the My SAPS app.

All information will be treated with the strictest confidentiality, and callers may remain anonymous.

Both the police and Sibanyoni’s family remain hopeful that public assistance will help bring him home safely.
